The Last Post

..for a bit anyway.  Wanadoo will be Wanadon't for a bit whilst we move house. I have no idea how long it will take to get you back, Internet, my love. I had to have a bit of a splurge on eBay to keep me going, and am pleased to report I won a pair of 'Thomas the Tank Engine' wellies and the 'Finding Nemo' soundtrack. 

I had planned to write a long and hilarious blog tonight.  However, I have spent ALL DAY cleaning the barn.  I have cleaned 3 bathrooms (yuk), vaxed 6 carpets, washed wooden floors, and a slate one. I have attempted to get the spiders web at the very top of the hallway window.  I failed. I have cleaned the oven, the microwave, the fireplace, the Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....Oh, dozed off then. I am so tired I can barely lift my glass of wine.

My friend Jo has written a lovey post, and as I am a bit caught up in moving house/ironing/other stuff I was hoping reading this, and looking at the last picture here would keep you readers happy.

In addition, I have just had news which had made me very happy. The bloke who currently lives in our new house emailed me to tell me he is moving out on Monday. We are due to move in on Wednesday.  I asked him if he would let me have the key a day early so I could go in and "Kay-clean".  God LOVE him.  He said YES! Please all send him good vibes.  That man deserves good karma forever.

Depressed

Hey, I know I witter on about this fitness and weight thing, but the truth is I am not obsessed with either, I just want to be fit and healthy. I want to live long, love long and prosper. Helen, myself and Jo have all pledged to start actually going to WeightWatchers meetings as of next week.  This is because I am rubbish, and have fallen of the wagon big-time.  I blame Davin.  He was in America working for 8 days, and I had to take comfort in half a bottle of white wine every night to get through the week.  For some reason I decided it would be a good plan to buy a body fat monitor.  It was not a good plan.  I am 35.5 % body fat.  This makes me obese.  I can't believe I am obese. Tubby may be, but OBESE? I have more percentage fat than the following:

Thousand Island dressing

Pringles (all flavours)

Cheesecake

Burger King Chicken Sandwich

Kentucky Fried Chicken

Seems to me, only cheese, peanut butter and pure lard are actually fatter than me. And, Davin wants curry tonight. See, his fault. The feeder.

This means that there will be no Internet for a bit, but at least I will hopefully have something good to blog about. The above house is in a little village just outside of Hitchin. I have never lived anywhere but large cities or towns before. I am not a village kinda girl.  Still, it is only 3 miles from Hitchin, and sometimes you have to do what feels right.  I think the new house is beautiful. It reminds me very much of a Huf House, except not quite so much glass. I need a bit more privacy than that.  Well I would do, being 35.5% body fat and all.

Harvey now OBSESSED by 'Finding Nemo'. He wants to watch it 24-7. Fear not, I do not let him. He even loves the credits at the end, and has a lovely little dance to go along with Robbie Williams singing.

I have been rubbish regarding diet and running. I am ashamed, oh internet. I feel I must say "My name is Kay Miller, and I have failed on my quest for fitness". That said, it is just a blip and I will resume running, and not drink wine everynight as soon as Davin returns from Washington DC. Honest.

Other news: we are set to move house in 2 weeks time. Hoorah.
