Master chef
Ah hem. Whenever we have friends over for lunch or dinner, Davin normally cooks. With good reason. Jane and Jev were over on Sunday, and I thought I would give Davin a break and do the cullinaries. I decided to cook roast beef plus all trimmings, and double chocolate raspberry tart. The ingredients I forgot to buy were: raspberries and chocolate, and Aunt Bessies Yorkshire puddings. I went back to Sainsbury's for a second time, and this time only forgot raspberries, and Aunt Bessies yorkshire puddings. So, desert was double chocolate tart (it didn't set), and I had to make the Yorshire puddings from scratch. I'd like you to meet them.
I had to run accross the kitchen and toss the cremated remains outside before they burned the house down. Lunch was a great success.
Oh, also I know I promised pictures of Harvey at the fun fair - but I forgot the camera. However, Jo saves the day again. Needless to say, Harvey and his friends had lots of fun, and our boy went on 7 rides. He seems to have no fear. I went on the 'Cups' with Harv and Sophie and almost said 'hello' to my lunch. They were fine and proceeded to eat chips, chocolate and strawberry bottle-shaped sweeties.
This made me cry with laughter.
Don't give up the day job.
