On Saturday, Davin did this

He thought it was mucho fun. It was pretty fun to watch too.  Harvey certainly thought so, although in the photo above he is peering intently at the letter 'm' of the Airkix.com lettering on the glass.  So intently at one point he said "Look Mummy, 'm' for 'Mummy". He is a clever lad. He is also a clever dick.  Despite Harvey never having sky-dived before (in a vertical wind tunnel, nor out of a plane), that didn't stop him giving Davin advice.  As Davin tried his best to remain air-bound whilst 110 mile-per-hour winds blew him to bits, Harvey shouted "No Daddy! Like this!" - and proceeded to stand on one leg with his arms held above his head.  What a know-it-all.  No idea at all whom he gets that from.

Ooohh, pink text.  Wow! And purple too. I didn't know I could do that!

We all love a party, so any excuse to have one is fine by me.  On Saturday we had a do to celebrate Bonfire night. This is what the children made of the fireworks.....

...basically they were terrified, with the exception of Alex.  All of them, at one point or another burst into tears and ended up inside - peering through the window

Poor Mabel, she looks a little scared in  her lovely red coat.

Still, nothing some juice could not fix in a jiffy

Then came the games. First up was "Wrap the Mummy". Except we played "Wrap the Papi". Snigger.

Then came "Apple-bobbing"

 

We all had a lot of fun. By the end of it all, there were some very tired children.  Ben (apple in mouth - above picture), was fast asleep in the car before his Mummy even made it to the end of our drive.  Roll on Xmas...Xmas means...more parties....YAY!!!
