It has been a long time

Just got off the phone from The Rutters, and apparently Princess Mabel requires photos of a certain little boy.  Her wish, has always been, and always will be, my command. Thousands of  miles have made no difference to how we Millers feel about Mabel. We loved her when we saw her every day, and we love her still.  In 123 days we will be in Vancouver.  May those days pass very quickly indeed.

Here is Harv on the day we put up the Christmas deccos

Ruldolph? Dancer? Prancer? Blitzen?

The cake!

Making food for the reindeer on Christmas eve.  In the words of Harvey "you can't have too much glitter, can you?".  My response.....HELL NO!

The Boys in Church on Christmas Eve. This time last year Harvey and Mabel sang 'Away in a Manger' together.  The lack of Mabel was the only sadness this time around. Mabel was a detail missed by us all.

After Church and back at home....putting out the food for Father Christmas and the reindeer

Look at my lovely Mollychicken scarf!

Cameo appearance by Charlie dog.  We fear, his last Christmas with us. He is a very, very old dog now (tears to eyes at this point)

And I leave you with a true love story.  'My' auntie Linnie and Harvey. What a lucky boy he is.

At last how lovely to see you all. We really missed the traditional christmas eve carol service (although David was quite relieved as he's not keen on carols). Oh no the thought of Charlie certainly made me cry, please give him a big hug and kiss from Mabel and I. Whilst reading the blog Mabel kept shouting "Harvey I'll see you when I'm Four"! Happy New Year and see you in 122 days xx

Its not so much the carols I dont like, but the lack of tuneful joining in!!!
Cheers for the chat this morning...
Its 5.42am where you are - and I'm drinking gin!
Neeeer!!!

Oh what a joy, a new blog, thankyou Kay. Here I am sitting in front of the fire just browsing through the computer, and low and behold what do I find, a new chunky monkey! The photographs are just perfect, they made me cry, I just love the wonders of Christmas, such a perfect time for little ones. Happy New Year to one and all, especially Harvey's auntie Linney and family, grandma Cocker, Donna and of course" The Rutters" and Princess Mabel in Canada, not long to go now Mable.
The Christmas Cake looks superb, save me a piece! I want lots of glitter too!!
